The American Lawyer covered the arrival of a three-partner east coast team—Mark Parise, Todd Zerega, and Betselot Zeleke—who joined Morgan Lewis’s investment management practice and are resident in the Hartford, Pittsburgh, and Washington, DC offices, respectively.
In the article, both Mark and Todd emphasized the depth of the firm’s investment management bench as well as its collaborative culture. “Looking at the dynamics within the market and looking at the platform and the people, it was a no-brainer,” said Mark.
Tim Levin, who leads the investment management practice, commented on the intentionality behind recruiting the trio, noting that “[w]e saw the opportunity [with this group] to add really top-level talent with partners who have established client relationships, have established reputations in the industry and bring them on to a platform we think is superior and offer them the opportunity to accelerate the growth of their practice in an environment where it’s fun to practice.”
