We use four types of cookies on our websites: strictly necessary cookies; analytical/performance cookies; functionality cookies; and targeting/advertising cookies. Each cookie is described below.

“First-party cookies” are cookies that Morgan Lewis websites create and store on your device, or cookies that have been added by another service on Morgan Lewis’ behalf, when you visit our websites. They are only available to websites in the morganlewis.com domain (e.g., www.morganlewis.com).

“Third-party cookies” are those set by a third-party service (i.e., different domain or site such as a video service or social platform) - typically when you use a specific function of our websites (e.g., playing a video or sharing a page). Our websites use Google Analytics (GA4) to collect anonymized statistics to help us understand how site visitors use our sites and to continuously improve the user experience. Google Analytics is a web analysis service of Google LLC ("Google"). Information generated about your use of this websites may be transferred to and stored in a Google server in the United States or otherwise outside of your jurisdiction.  

Google’s web analytics services use cookies to monitor traffic levels, search queries, and site visits. Google Analytics will use this information to measure your activity on our websites, compile statistical reports on overall content interaction activity, and provide other services relating to website activity and internet usage.

Morgan Lewis has activated the IP anonymization feature in Google Analytics, which will anonymize a visitor’s IP address (by masking the last octet) before it is stored. Google represents that IP addresses for EU, Swiss and UK user traffic are not transferred outside of these jurisdictions. Further, we have configured Google Analytics to not share your data with any third parties.

If you are located outside of the United States, the Google Analytics cookies are not activated unless you freely opt-in to the use of these cookies via the “Accept All Cookies” or “Customize Cookies” buttons in our banner. You may opt-out of the Google Analytics cookies at any time by clicking the “Customize Cookies” button above.

Within the United States, you may opt-out of the Google Analytics cookies by customizing your cookie settings in the Cookie Preference Center by clicking the “Customize Cookies” button in our banner or above.
