LOS ANGELES, February 5, 2024: Edward Ulloa, a longtime trial lawyer and litigation strategist, has joined Morgan Lewis resident in Los Angeles. Upon his arrival, Ed will continue to defend clients in high-risk, mass tort and products liability litigation.
“Our clients count on us to effectively manage the type of challenging litigation Ed has built his career upon,” said Firm Chair Jami McKeon. “Ed’s extensive courtroom experience and firm grasp on toxic tort and product liability matters will greatly assist clients in need of strong representation in these high stakes matters.”
Ed has served as first-chair trial counsel in more than 50 jury trials in more than a dozen states, defending clients in mass tort and products liability litigation, including asbestos, talc, e-cigarette and chemical exposure, flammable fabric, and automotive product liability actions.
“Ed has a long history of guiding clients through complex issues, particularly those related to asbestos and talc,” said J. Gordon Cooney, Jr., leader of the firm’s litigation practice. “We are thrilled to welcome Ed on the West Coast and add to our national bench of lawyers skilled at defending our clients’ interests.”
Ed’s arrival follows that of several accomplished trial lawyers to our market-leading legacy liabilities practice over the last year: partners Paul Scrudato and Jill Berry resident in New York and partner Peter Moir and of counsel Stephanie Spardone resident in Dallas.
