NEW YORK, January 23, 2025: Morgan Lewis and the firm’s eData practice group leader, Scott Milner, have been named finalists as part of ALM’s Legalweek 2025 Leaders in Tech Law Awards, which recognize law firms, in-house legal departments, and providers that have developed and implemented innovative legal technologies.
Morgan Lewis is a finalist in the following categories:
- Innovator of the Year for partner and eData practice group leader Scott Milner for his guidance in growing the eData practice amid an evolving legal technology landscape and influence in the eDiscovery space.
- Innovations in Knowledge Management for LaborPost, a digital solution for job posting requirements created during the pandemic and since rebuilt to accommodate any regulated labor notices required to be posted in public or semi-public spaces and for KM Counsel, our firmwide knowledge bank that serves as a centralized tech-enabled storage library for valuable work product.
- Litigation Technology and Innovation for OffComm Detector, a natural language processing tool that identifies communications outside an organization’s communications channels within a dataset, empowering legal teams to develop a post-identification representation strategy, and for our eData Custodian Sync Interview Application, which redefines how information obtained during custodial interviews for client discovery is tracked, analyzed, and summarized.
- Best Use of Emerging Technology (Non-AI) for development of EquiTable, a proprietary tracking tool developed by our knowledge management team that streamlines a client’s view across country-specific gender pay reporting obligations.
