Randall C. McGeorge

Randy also represents employers with respect to multiemployer pension plan issues in a variety of contexts, including withdrawal liability, corporate transactions, litigation, collective bargaining, workforce restructuring, and plant relocations and closures. He has worked with employers in a wide variety of industries, including transportation, construction, food, baking, manufacturing, hospitality, textiles, and entertainment.

Randy also counsels clients on a wide array of executive compensation and employee benefits concerns, including the design and implementation of qualified and nonqualified retirement plans, equity incentive plans, executive compensation arrangements, and health and welfare plans. Representing corporations and individuals, he negotiates and drafts employment and severance agreements. He also represents clients before the US Internal Revenue Service (IRS), US Department of Labor (DOL), and Pension Benefit Guaranty Corp. regarding the qualification and operation of employee benefits plans.

Randy is a frequent speaker on employee benefits, executive compensation, and multiemployer pension plan issues. He has presented to the Western Pennsylvania Chapter of the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals, New York and Pennsylvania Bar Associations, International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans, Tax Executives Institute, J. Nelson Young Tax Institute, Employee Benefits News Forum & Expo, Institute of Management and Administration, and Lorman Education Services, among others.

Additionally, Randy has authored articles published in the Journal of Deferred Compensation, Tax Management Compensation Planning Journal, Tax Executive Magazine, National Law Review, Bloomberg Corporate Law Journal, and Florida Bar Journal.
