Richard A. Toelke

Rich is the former co-leader of the firm's real estate practice and has been identified as one of Boston’s best real estate lawyers in Chambers USA, Best Lawyers in America, and Super Lawyers. Before joining Morgan Lewis, Rich was a partner in the corporate practice at another international law firm, where he was deputy co-chair of their real estate practice group.

• Represents Berkshire Residential Investments and CBRE Investment Management as lead real estate counsel on acquisitions, financings, and dispositions of multifamily apartment complexes throughout the United States
• Represented 3650 REIT in a preferred equity investment in a portfolio of 21 multifamily apartment communities located throughout the Southeastern United States
• Represented Berkeley Investments in the acquisition, leasing, debt and equity financing, and redevelopment and subsequent disposition of a portfolio of historic brick and beam warehouse buildings in the Fort Point Channel District neighborhood of the Seaport section of Boston, Massachusetts, consisting of office buildings, a residential condominium project, a multifamily rental project, and featuring several high-end restaurants
