Daja Apetz-Dreier’s broad disputes practice encompasses complex commercial litigation and business disputes as well as international arbitration, often in cross-border conflicts. Daja’s work cover a wide range of industries, including finance, insurance, life sciences, energy, and real estate–related matters. She also has an extensive background handling complex post-M&A and corporate disputes including joint venture disputes and shareholder claims.
Daja is a co-leader of the firm’s ESG sustainability and advisory practice and routinely advises companies in relation to environmental matters such as climate change, greenwashing, and regulatory and enforcement questions. Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Daja was the Munich office managing partner of another international law firm, where she served as the office chair of its Women’s Initiative Network. Trilingual, Daja speaks German, English, and French.
