Lindsey T. Levy focuses her practice on complex commercial and class action litigation. She litigates a wide variety of issues, including matters of breach of contract, fraud, misappropriation of trade secrets, unfair trade practices, and claims under the False Claims Act. She represents financial institutions, pharmaceutical companies, retail companies, oil and gas companies, technology companies, and other entities and individual clients in all phases of litigation, from pre-complaint investigations through fact and expert discovery, trial, and appeals. She recently obtained a unanimous defense verdict following a two-week federal jury trial.
Lindsey also regularly advises clients in connection with internal investigations and enforcement actions brought by government regulators, including the US Department of Justice, the US Securities and Exchange Commission, and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
Lindsey holds a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, where she served as executive editor for the Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics and a member of the Women’s International Human Rights Clinic. Prior to attending law school, she taught third grade as a Teach For America Corps member in Kansas City, Missouri. Lindsey clerked for the Honorable Nanette K. Laughrey of the US District Court for the Western District of Missouri.
