Liliya Kramer defends employers on a variety of labor and employment matters, including claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour violations, arising in federal and state courts and before administrative agencies. She also counsels employers regarding compliance with state and federal laws. Liliya regularly advises and defends clients in Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) litigations, spanning numerous industries and disciplines.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Liliya worked as an Assistant Corporation Counsel in the Labor and Employment Division of the New York City Law Department. There, Liliya represented the City of New York in its role as employer and handled a broad range of employment litigation matters on behalf of City agencies, ranging from single-plaintiff discrimination cases to complex federal class and collective actions. In 2017, Liliya was awarded Legal Rookie of the Year, a recognition by the City Law Department of outstanding performance for first-year attorneys.
