Beth S. Joseph

Beth Joseph is a seasoned litigator and counselor in all areas of employment law as well as Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) public accommodation accessibility-related matters. She has successfully defended national employers across a wide variety of industries in single-plaintiff, complex, and class-action litigation and arbitration, including discrimination, harassment and retaliation claims as well as whistleblower and non-compete matters. Beth regularly counsels and conducts high-level internal investigations for clients and training on workplace behavior as well as federal and state public accommodation laws.

Beth is an authority in all aspects of accessibility law, including electronic information technology (e.g., websites, mobile applications, and in-store technology), architectural barrier issues in physical facilities, effective communication and auxiliary aid and services issues, and service animals.

She also regularly appears before administrative agencies, in addition to advising and assisting clients with responding to complaints before the Department of Justice and state and local administrative agencies across the United States. Since 2012, Beth has co-authored and edited the “Public Accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act: Compliance and Litigation Manual.”
