Partner Levi McAllister wrote an article for Automotive World discussing issues facing participants in the growing US electric vehicle (EV) market. These include the need for more public charging stations, new avenues to source battery materials, and the important role vehicle-to-grid (V2G) capabilities play in EV adoption.
“In particular, EV customers or fleet owners can utilise bidirectional chargers and V2G capability to harness their EV batteries for transport in times of need and for energy storage and discharge in times when transportation is not necessary or when market dynamics create monetization opportunities for the stored energy,” the article said.
