NEW YORK, March 25, 2025: American Lawyer Media honored Morgan Lewis at its annual Legalweek Leaders in Tech Law Awards as a top law firm for Litigation Technology and Innovation. The awards, held this year on March 24 in New York City, recognize law firms, in-house legal departments, and providers that have advanced the booming field of legal technology over the last year.
Morgan Lewis and its eData practice were selected for their development and implementation of the OffComm Detector, a natural language processing tool that flags communications occurring outside an organization’s approved channels, helping legal teams shape post-identification representation strategies.
Additionally, Scott Milner, partner and chair of the eData practice, was a finalist for Innovator of the Year for his leadership in building Morgan Lewis’s pioneering eData practice and his longstanding influence in the eDiscovery space.
The firm was further recognized as a finalist in the Innovations in Knowledge Management and Best Use of Emerging Technology (Non-AI) categories.
