Chief Knowledge Management and Practice Services Officer Colleen Nihill spoke with Legaltech News about our firm’s third-party data integration tool, KM ConnX, for winning the award for Innovations in Knowledge Management at the 2023 Legalweek Leaders in Tech Law Awards.
In the Q&A, Colleen discussed how Morgan Lewis’s belief that diversity improves problem-solving and increases innovation—and ultimately leads to better performance—shaped the project.
“This philosophy is at the core of how we set out to develop our matter experience platform,” Colleen said.
“We wanted to ensure that all of the experiences across the firm were captured so, for example, when we are pitching for new work, staffing a matter, or thinking about what is market[able] for a particular deal[,] we are considering all points of view and benefiting from the firm’s collective knowledge.”
