This panel will explore the intersection of nuclear energy and artificial intelligence (AI) as the demand for power continues to grow. The panel will review how nuclear power can be a sustainable and reliable energy source for powering data centers that support AI applications. It will also explore the legal, regulatory, and policy challenges associated with bringing new nuclear megawatts on the grid by restarting shutdown nuclear reactors or building new ones. The panelists will dive into the implications of policy changes on licensing, permitting, and environmental reviews.
