Vivien advises multinational corporate and individual clients on a wide range of immigration and mobility matters with a focus on Greater China. With more than a decade of immigration law experience in Hong Kong and globally, she is also a qualified solicitor and a registered migration agent in Australia.
Vivien counsels corporate clients on available work permit and visa categories to target varying business needs in Hong Kong and the People’s Republic of China (PRC). Clients rely on her in developing immigration compliance programs for business travelers and advice on protocols for expatriate transitions in the case of major business changes such as mergers and acquisitions, consolidations, reductions in force (RIF), and reorganizations.
She also advises clients on merits reviews and appeals on visa applications and frequently offers support to corporations with client audits, trainings, and seminars on immigration visa categories and policies in Hong Kong and the PRC.
Vivien develops and maintains customized regional immigration and mobility programs for multinational corporations in order to achieve a globally mobile workforce and advises startups and investors on special immigration categories in Hong Kong and the PRC.
Vivien also counsels on outside-policy immigration categories for de facto/common law partners, fiancées , and surrogate children for individual clients in Hong Kong, and provides legal advices on global investment visa options and related citizenship and residency issues.
