Nagwa Hultquist focuses on product liability, complex mass tort, and toxic tort disputes. With a particular emphasis on litigation management and strategy, Nagwa coordinates multidistrict and US-wide serial litigation representations for clients in a variety of industries and uses innovative risk mitigation strategies and litigation metric analysis to deliver effective and cost-efficient results. She currently serves as national coordinating counsel to a number of Fortune 500 companies involved in mass tort litigation, including representations with claims arising from occupational exposures to asbestos and silica.
Nagwa also has experience in antitrust compliance and litigation, US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) enforcement, commercial litigation, appellate briefing, and in pursuing the recovery of insurance proceeds for policyholders.
Before joining the firm, Nagwa served as in-house counsel with a Fortune 500 manufacturer. In that role, she established and executed legal strategies for the company’s litigation, including national asbestos lawsuits and EPA enforcement matters. At Morgan Lewis, Nagwa leads cross-office serial litigation teams in national representations for multiple clients. Nagwa received her White Belt Certification in Legal Lean Sigma and Project Management in May 2014 from the Legal Lean Sigma Institute.
Nagwa currently serves on the firm’s Advisory Board. She is also a member of the litigation practice leadership team and the firm’s Diversity Committee.
