Matthew D. Klayman assists clients in a wide range of areas, including business and corporate disputes, class action defense, and appellate litigation. Matt has experience representing clients in all aspects of the healthcare industry, from health insurance, pharmaceutical, and medical device companies to the technology, financial services, food services, publishing, and manufacturing sectors. Matt has counseled clients through all aspects of litigation and helped achieved significant victories for clients at every stage.
Before joining Morgan Lewis, Matt served as a law clerk to Judge Thomas L. Ambro of the US Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and Judge Gene E.K. Pratter of the US District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. While in law school, Matt was an articles editor for the University of Pennsylvania Law Review and participated in the Penn Law Supreme Court Clinic and the Third Circuit Appellate Externship. Prior to attending law school, he was the policy coordinator for an energy efficiency nonprofit in Philadelphia.
