Matthew K. Cubin
Matthew K. Cubin provides comprehensive legal services to private equity firms, emerging and middle-market companies, venture capital funds, and entrepreneurs across numerous industries, including the technology, healthcare, telecommunications, financial services, and consumer products sectors. Matt focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), private equity, and venture capital transactions, as well as the general corporate representation of a variety of operating companies.
Matt maintains an active pro bono practice, through which he represents various nonprofit organizations in connection with entity formation, obtaining 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status, and other corporate matters.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Matt was a corporate associate at a Delaware law firm, where he counseled Delaware corporations on negotiated acquisitions and divestitures as well as issues of corporate governance. While attending law school, he served as a managing editor of the Iowa Law Review.

- Represented Turtle Beach, a global gaming accessory manufacturer based in San Diego, California, in its cross-border acquisition of ROCCAT, a developer of gaming mice, keyboards, and other accessories
- Represented Turtle Beach in its acquisition of Neat Microphones, a developer of desktop USB microphones
- Represented Park Lawn Corporation, the largest publicly traded Canadian-owned funeral, cremation, and cemetery provider, in multiple strategic acquisitions, including:
