Louis T. Nguyen serves the needs of Morgan Lewis’s intellectual property (IP) clients by representing domestic and foreign startups, large corporations, solo inventors, and academic institutions. He advises primarily in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical fields on patent preparation and prosecution, infringement and validity opinions, freedom-to-operate analyses, and IP due diligence reviews for companies with technologies relating to antibody therapeutics, vaccines, peptide pharmaceuticals, antisense therapeutics, and molecular diagnostics. Louis also provides technical support for patent litigations in the biopharma space.
Louis has published several peer-reviewed scientific articles. His background includes serving as a lead content editor for the Santa Clara Computer & High Tech Law Journal, and working as a research scientist in the Department of Immunology at Stanford University. He was previously a patent attorney at another international law firm.
