Kaiser H. Chowdhry advises clients on employment law issues. He focuses on a full range of employment litigation, including Title VII, Wage and Hour, and OSHA matters. Kaiser also counsels clients regarding HR practices, reductions-in-force, and litigation avoidance. Before joining Morgan Lewis, Kaiser participated in the firm’s Public Interest Fellowship Program embedded with the Humane Society of the United States, where he worked primarily on litigation matters involving wildlife abuse.
Based in Washington, DC, Kaiser collaborates with Morgan Lewis’s global employment litigation team to advise Fortune 500 companies, private businesses, and universities in litigation matters before US state and federal courts and the Department of Labor. A significant portion of Kaiser’s practice is spent representing clients in wage and hours matters involving misclassification and overtime pay claims, and Title VII matters involving race, age, and gender discrimination. Kaiser also regularly advises clients in OSHA litigation, spanning numerous industries and disciplines. In addition to employment litigation, Kaiser counsels clients on litigation avoidance strategy related to daily employment decisions and business reorganizations.
In 2013 and 2014, Kaiser was elected to Washington, DC, Super Lawyers’ “Rising Stars” list.
