Karon N. Fowler is a trial lawyer who represents clients in complex intellectual property disputes involving utility patents, design patents, unfair competition, licensing issues, and trade secrets. As part of collaborative litigation teams handling jury and bench trials in US district courts, the US International Trade Commission (ITC), and the US Court of International Trade, Karon has experience managing or contributing to all stages of a case’s lifecycle. She also represents clients before the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and contributes to post-grant proceedings before the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
Karon advises and represents clients in matters involving various technologies, including computer networking, semiconductor manufacturing, access control systems, wireless local area networks, computer hardware and software, virtual reality equipment and applications, lighting systems, orthopedic implants, wearables, and biotechnology.
Before joining Morgan Lewis, Karon served as a law clerk for Judge Eduardo C. Robreno of the US District Court of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. In law school, Karon was a judicial intern for Judge Patricia Campbell-Smith of the US Court of Federal Claims, board member of the Wake Forest Law Review, and member of the Appellate Advocacy Clinic where she argued before the US Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. Karon graduated with honors as a member of the Order of Barristers and Order of the Coif.
