Karen LoDico leads the Morgan Lewis global finance organization, working closely with the firm’s senior leadership team to develop and execute on the firm’s financial strategy. She advises on a broad range of financial matters, including accounting, tax, due diligence, and legal entity issues. Karen possesses a breadth of experience in business strategy, economic models and operations, as well as regional, national, and global financial and tax matters.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Karen was a tax partner in PwC’s Law Firm Services practice, where she advised law firms, helping them to navigate finance, business, and tax matters affecting the operations of the firms and their partners. During her 25 years at PwC, the majority being spent serving global and national AmLaw 100 and AmLaw 200 firms, she led a team of more than 60 tax professionals charged with business development, client service, practice management, tax technical developments, and risk management issues. Karen is also a frequent author and guest speaker on law firm tax and accounting issues.
Karen serves as an advisory board member of Students Run Philly Style, a nonprofit whose mission is to transform students’ lives through running and mentorship. She also is a former board member and treasurer of Women's Law Project (WLP), a public interest legal center devoted to protecting and expanding the rights of women, girls, and LGBTQ people in Pennsylvania and beyond. She continues to serve on the WLP’s strategic planning committee.
