Damon Elder is the litigation practice leader for Morgan Lewis’s Seattle office. He has experience in a broad variety of civil litigation, with a particular focus on consumer protection and product liability litigation, complex commercial disputes, and employment-related litigation. Damon has defended clients against consumer protection class actions and complaints filed by state and federal authorities in dozens of cases across the United States, with an emphasis on lawsuits arising in Washington.
Damon has represented numerous companies, executives, and business owners in connection with disputes over the management, control, and transactions of their businesses. He also has experience representing employers in disputes over noncompetition and nonsolicitation agreements, employment discrimination claims, and misappropriation of trade secrets.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Damon was a founding partner in the law firm Calfo Eakes in Seattle. He currently serves on the board of directors of Camp Korey, a Seattle-area nonprofit that serves children with life-altering medical conditions and their families.
