Andrew P. Frederick represents employers in a broad range of employment-related litigation, with a particular focus on wage and hour class, collective, and representative actions, background check-related class actions, and single-plaintiff and multi-plaintiff litigation. Drew defends employers in state and federal courts and in arbitration, and has helped secure victories for employers against challenges to their compensation policies, wage and hour practices, termination decisions, and employee and independent contractor classifications. Drew’s experience spans the airline, life sciences, retail, technology, and telecommunications industries, among others.
Drew has substantial experience developing strategies for employers in defending against complex wage and hour and background-check matters, particularly in California state and federal courts. Drew’s practice also involves defense of employers against discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination claims.
In addition to his litigation work, Drew counsels employers on employment-related legal issues, including wage and hour compliance issues, and performs audits of employers’ wage and hour practices. Drew has substantial experience representing employers in the airline and aviation services industry and advising on the unique employment law issues that employers in this space confront.
