Financing Increased Interconnection Costs in Light of Queue Reform, Reuters

Partners Pam Wu, Jane Kang, and Laura Neumeister Wright co-authored an article for Reuters discussing the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission's order adopting reforms to the generator interconnection process in light of skyrocketing interest in renewable and clean energy project development.

The article provides an overview of the order and the new reforms, and looks at three common options for financing a project’s development costs: asset sales, equity investments, and development loan facilities.
