Partner Mark Opitz was quoted in an article in The Deal discussing how services deals may be affected by current economic conditions, the political environment, and other factors.
Mark noted, “Generally speaking, there’s a lot of talk about exits, but many are waiting to see what the exit is going to look like—a larger platform exit could open up the market again.”
“Add-on activity remains strong—smaller businesses, while heavily scrutinized in financial diligence, are generally being less impacted by macroeconomic headwinds,” said Mark.
