Partner John Ring is quoted in a Law360 article discussing expected changes at the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) under the incoming Trump administration. John said a new general counsel likely would seek to reverse a course set by current general counsel Jennifer Abruzzo for regional offices to pursue remedies that employers are unlikely to agree to, leading to more cases going to litigation and occupying the NLRB’s staff.
“Right now, so many of the cases are being forced into litigation, as opposed to the board’s normal process of really trying to settle as many matters as possible before litigation,” John said.
