“As enforcement begins, skilled nursing facilities will have to use their best judgment when filling out the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) application, erring on the side of disclosure,” said Janice. “CMS ‘tried to put out something that they thought was helpful,’ but ‘there’s room for interpretation.’”
