MIAMI, October 15, 2024: Morgan Lewis partner Alison Tanchyk has been named to the Latinvex Top Female Lawyers list for the sixth time. The list features the top 100 female lawyers specializing in Latin America matters among international law firms. Alison is once again listed in the FCPA & Fraud category.
This year, Latinvex considered female lawyers from 100 international law firms, ultimately selecting practitioners from 60 firms based in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and the Cayman Islands. The selection criteria include lawyers’ recent track records on major deals and business, the prominence of their law firms in Latin America, and their rankings in guides published by Chambers and Partners and The Legal 500.
Alison focuses her practice on government and internal investigations, complex civil litigation, and compliance and regulatory matters, focusing on the Foreign Corrupt Practies Act, Anti-Kickback Statute, False Claims Act, fraud, and antitrust issues. Companies and individuals turn to Alison for defense against investigations related to corruption, anticompetitive practices, and various forms of fraud, including healthcare, tax, and securities fraud. Additionally, corporate leaders and boards seek her expertise in developing, implementing, evaluating, and auditing internal compliance and ethics programs. She is co-chair of the Juncadella Corporate Counsel Group, an informal organization of South Florida–based in-house counsel who primarily advise companies with business interests in Latin America and the Caribbean.
