HOUSTON, TX, August 12, 2024: Houston Volunteer Lawyers (HVL) has named the city’s Morgan Lewis office as an Equal Access to Justice Champion for demonstrating constant dedication to HVL and the Houston community through pro bono service.
The Equal Access to Justice Champions Program was started by the Houston Bar Association in 2006 to place HVL cases with pro bono volunteers. In the last bar year ended June 30, 2024, Morgan Lewis lawyers dedicated more than 800 hours to HVL patrons, helping ensure that parents have rights to their children, veterans receive their benefits, families have healthy, accessible homes, and more.
