Partner Heather MacDougall spoke with HR Magazine about a proposed rule from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) to protect employees from the heat. Heather noted that OSHA is proposing to exclude from the rule short-duration employee exposures to heat, emergency response activities, indoor sedentary work activities, and worksites where the temperature is kept below 80 degrees Fahrenheit.
