“The Russian aviation claims are one of The Lawyer’s top 20 cases of 2024, seeing aircraft lessors take on their insurers for vessels trapped in Russia since the beginning of the war in Ukraine two years ago. A cumulative $9.7 billion in damages is presently in dispute for over 200 aircraft,” The Lawyer reported.
