SINGAPORE, January 22, 2024: Morgan Lewis advised AIGF Advisors Pte Ltd (AIGF) in the sale of Restaurants Development Co. Ltd. (RD), a franchisee of KFC Thailand, to Devyani International DMCC, a subsidiary of India-listed Devyani International Limited. AIGF invested in RD in 2016, and then grew the company and expanded its network of stores across Thailand significantly, from 120-plus stores in 2016 to more than 280 stores as of December 2023.
Headquartered in Singapore, AIGF is an ASEAN-focused private equity firm sponsored by Mitsubishi Corporation that focuses on growth capital and value creation for small/mid-cap companies.
