Partners Grace Speights, David McManus, Matthew Howse, and Louise Skinner spoke with International Employment Lawyer (IEL) about the evolving global employment landscape and the firm’s recent recognition at the inaugural IEL Awards ceremony.
“We are thrilled to be named International Employment Team of the Year!” said Grace. “It is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our incredible global team and the support we receive from firm leadership.”
“Employers are recognising the importance of employee engagement in achieving organisational goals. As a result, they are investing in initiatives to improve employee engagement, such as providing opportunities for feedback, recognising employee achievements, and creating a positive work environment,” said Matthew.
Louise added, “There is also an increased awareness of the importance of mental health, particularly in the workplace, leading to a growing understanding of the impact of mental health on overall health and wellbeing.”
“Technology is transforming the way organisations recruit, develop, and manage their talent. Employers will need to embrace artificial intelligence, machine learning, and other digital tools to enhance their HR processes and gain a competitive edge,” David said.
