Partner Levi McAllister spoke with Automotive News about the process for transferring tax credits for new and used electric vehicles at the point of sale. Levi noted that the success of the credits could depend on whether the government can meet a 72-hour transfer timeframe for dealers to be reimbursed for transferring the credits.
“To me, that’s really the key issue of whether this is going to be workable or not,” Levi said.
