PHILADELPHIA, October 13, 2023: Philadelphia Business Journal has included Morgan Lewis partner Laura McNally on its 2023 Women of Influence list; she is one of just three law firm partners among the 30 honorees. The annual list recognizes influential and impactful women leaders across industries in the Greater Philadelphia business community.
Laura defends clients in class and individual actions brought under federal securities law, challenges to mergers and acquisitions, derivative suits, and appraisals. Philadelphia Business Journal recognized Laura for her recent successes, which include vacating a district court’s grant of summary judgment for a global real estate brokerage and presenting the winning argument to secure dismissal of a $3 billion derivative lawsuit against a medical technology company in the Delaware Supreme Court. Laura also has an active pro bono practice focused on prisoners’ civil rights, including representing indigent individuals in asylum proceedings.
Laura and the other honorees were recognized at an October 12 ceremony in Philadelphia and featured in a special section of Philadelphia Business Journal.
