Partners Christine Lombardo and Christine Schleppegrell are quoted in a Bloomberg Law article discussing potential impacts of a new private fund rule from the US Securities and Exchange Commission that, among other measures, includes new disclosure requirements.
“I do think that operationalizing that as a practice will certainly be onerous for managers,” Christine Lombardo said of the disclosure mandates.
The rule also requires funds to provide quarterly reports to investors outlining fees and expenses. Christine Schleppegrell noted that, while some advisers already provide similar reports, the rule’s requirements are a “very different world.”
