NEW YORK, August 17, 2022: Morgan Lewis partner Russell Franklin has been recognized among the New York Law Journal’s 2022 Rising Stars—an annual honor that recognizes the region’s most promising lawyers age 40 and younger.
Russell counsels global private and publicly held companies in connection with structuring, and effecting, complex strategic transactions including structuring and negotiating mergers and acquisitions (M&A), minority investments, joint venture transactions, and SPAC and de-SPAC transactions. Russell is a member of the board of directors and co-chair of the sponsorship committee of the Sonia & Celina Sotomayor Judicial Internship Program. He is also a member of the Cornell Black Lawyers Alumni Network executive board, serving as treasurer.
