SAN FRANCISCO, May 5, 2022: Morgan Lewis has been honored by Legal Services for Children (LSC) with the organization’s Excellence in Pro Bono Service award in recognition of the significant pro bono contributions of the firm’s California lawyers in 2021.
Through Morgan Lewis’s dedicated partnership with LSC spanning more than a decade, the firm’s lawyers have donated countless hours of legal services to vulnerable children in need of advocacy, most of whom are seeking asylum in the United States and/or are in need of Special Immigrant Juvenile Status representation. Morgan Lewis lawyers have also worked with LSC to represent children in school expulsion and discipline matters and Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program participants.
A Morgan Lewis team will accept the award during LSC’s annual celebration and fundraiser on June 1 in San Francisco.
