LOS ANGELES, SAN FRANCISCO, May 18, 2022: Morgan Lewis partners Nicole Buffalano and Molly Moriarty Lane have been recognized by the Daily Journal on its list of the Top Women Lawyers in California for 2022. The annual list identifies the top 100 women lawyers who are barred and practice in the state.
Nicole’s practice focuses primarily on traditional labor matters and the National Labor Relations Act. She represents clients in collective bargaining negotiations, arbitrations, and other collective bargaining matters, and in proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board, including unfair labor practices proceedings and union elections. Before joining Morgan Lewis, Nicole was a board attorney with the NLRB in the New York and West Los Angeles regional offices.
Molly has more than two decades of litigation experience and focuses her practice on defending clients in class action lawsuits in the healthcare, retail, technology, automotive, and financial sectors, with a particular emphasis on advising health insurers in federal and California state courts. She also handles general commercial dispute litigation in these industries. Molly also serves as co-chair of the firm’s class action litigation practice and counsels clients in every stage of the litigation cycle.
