MIAMI, April 11, 2022: Morgan Lewis has added additional bench strength to its leading labor and employment practice with the arrival of partner Jennifer Bullock and associate Christina Folds, resident in the Miami office. Jennifer and Christina reunite as they return to the firm to advise employers on matters of all sizes and represent them in court, arbitrations, and administrative proceedings.
“We are eager for Jennifer and Christina to return to Morgan Lewis and further expand our capabilities to serve our clients in their labor and employment litigation and counseling needs in Florida,” said Firm Chair Jami McKeon. “As employers deal with a range of issues involving their employees, such as noncompete agreements, workplace accommodations, and independent contractor classification, they need to be able to turn to trusted outside counsel who have a successful track record.”
Jennifer’s experience includes representing clients in court, such as successfully arguing before the US Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, serving as lead trial counsel in multimillion-dollar litigation between competitors, and defending federal class and collective actions. After serving as of counsel in the firm’s Miami office from 2017 to 2019, Jennifer joined Florida’s largest domestic violence center, Women in Distress, as executive vice president. While there, she managed a team of 85 employees, built a robust compliance program, and led the organization through many personnel and management initiatives. Jennifer then founded Bullock Legal before returning to Morgan Lewis.
Christina advises clients across an array of labor and employment issues, including restrictive covenant agreements, US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and US Department of Labor investigations, and compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
“Jennifer is well regarded in the Florida legal and business communities as an accomplished lawyer and as a deeply committed volunteer leader,” said Grace Speights, leader of the firm’s global labor and employment practice. “She shares our values and knows firsthand the Morgan Lewis way of delivering high-quality legal services.”
Jennifer and Christina will work in close collaboration with the firm’s expanded Miami-based labor team, which includes Sam Shaulson, co-leader of the labor and employment practice’s financial services team, and of counsel Kim Lunetta. Both Sam and Kim recently relocated to Miami. Morgan Lewis also recently expanded its labor practice with the additions of labor relations partner Mark Stolzenburg in Chicago and West Coast labor and employment partners Brian Berry and Michael Weil.
