NEW YORK, March 30, 2021: Morgan Lewis has been recognized for the 20th consecutive year for client service in BTI Consulting Group’s Client Service A-Team 2021: Survey of Law Firm Client Service Performance report. Morgan Lewis is one of only three law firms globally to have been named by BTI among the top 30 Client Service firms since the annual survey began in 2002.
This year’s edition of the report also recognized Morgan Lewis in several categories, including Innovative Approach – which ranks firms on capability of providing unique, creative initiatives and approaches – and in Provides Value for the Dollar, Deals with Unexpected Changes, Advising on Business Issues, and Anticipates the Client’s Needs.
In an accompanying profile of Morgan Lewis, BTI highlighted that the firm is a “longtime consumer of client feedback and training – driving client service into the core of the firm’s culture.” The report also made note of how “clients trust Morgan Lewis to advise on business issues and deal with unexpected changes based on the long-term relationships Morgan Lewis works hard to ensure.”
BTI evaluates firms based on 17 activities in four quadrants: Relationship Bliss, Price of Admission, Best Supporting Activities, and New Business Magnets. To compile its report, BTI identified 650 law firms that serve Fortune 1000 companies, of which 282 are singled out by name. Less than 5% of the firms—the "best of the best"—make the BTI Client Service 30.
