NEW YORK, July 15, 2020: Morgan Lewis represented Ares Management in the development and project financing of Hill Top Energy Center, a transaction that has been named winner of IJGlobal’s 2019 North America Power Deal of the Year. Morgan Lewis represented Ares with the development, construction, and approximately $420 million private placement project financing of Hill Top Energy Center, an approximately 620-megawatt, natural gas–fired, combined-cycle electric generation facility in Greene County, Pennsylvania. Partners Richard Filosa, Michael Müller, Kirstin Gibbs, and Amy Maloney, and associate Kathryn Ostman represented Ares.
