‘I Am Afraid for My Life’: Immigrant Detainees Plead to Be Released, Los Angeles Times

Morgan Lewis served as pro bono co-counsel with Human Rights First in a case arguing for the release of select detainees held in Adelanto ICE Processing Center in California due to their elevated risk of contracting the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The case was featured in an article published by Los Angeles Times. The detainees represented by the firm have since been released.
