Lawyers Back Female President to Lead CAT, GCR

Morgan Lewis partner Leonidas Theodosiou was quoted in a Global Competition Review (GCR) article about the upcoming appointment of a new president for the UK’s Competition Appeal Tribunal (CAT) and the possibility of selecting its first female president. He highlighted that the new president would face “an unprecedented caseload of growing complexity,” necessitating a careful balance between efficiency and prompt case management.

“To maintain England and Wales as a premier forum for competition cases, they would be expected to uphold the predictability, adaptability, and agility that define English litigation, ensuring it remains attractive for swift and reliable resolutions of competition cases,” Leo said.
