Airline Economics Recognizes James Bradley as Aviation Industry Mentor, Terry Chang Among 40 Under 40

SINGAPORE, September 20, 2023: Morgan Lewis partner James Bradley and of counsel Terry Chang have been honored by Airline Economics as part of its annual recognition of mentors, and leading aviation professionals under the age of 40.

Terry was named to the publication’s 40 Under 40 Class of 2023, which recognizes young aviation professionals who “represent the vanguard of change, embodying the spirit of progress that propels aviation into a promising future.” James was named a leading Aviation Industry Mentor for 2023, which celebrates those who have inspired members of the 40 Under 40 class.

James advises on a variety of transactions in the transportation and finance sectors. He has served in outside and in-house counsel roles across Asia and Europe, advising leading financial institutions, aircraft and engine lessors, airlines, other stakeholders, and shipowners on various aspects of financing, leasing, and restructuring across a variety of jurisdictions in relation to aircraft, engines, and corporate jets. In Airline Economics, Terry called James “a tremendous source of encouragement and motivation” and said James has provided him “invaluable” support during his career.

Terry focuses his practice on aircraft and engine financing, cross-border leasing, domestic and cross-border sales of aircraft, and structured finance transactions. He has acted for banks, financial institutions, lessors, and operators in various jurisdictions, particularly in the Asia-Pacific region. Airline Economics noted Terry’s involvement in award-winning transactions throughout his career and his talent for handling “complex and technical transactions with ease.”
