WASHINGTON, DC, August 31, 2023: The National Law Journal has recognized Morgan Lewis partner Pamela Wu as a DC Rising Star as part of its 2023 Legal Awards. Pam is one of 40 lawyers under the age of 40 in the Washington, DC metro area who was named a Rising Star based on her successful practice, her leadership capabilities, and recommendations from her clients and peers.
Pam represents companies in the energy industry on a broad range of matters involving rates, market rules and regulation, and energy commodity trading before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and Commodity Futures Trading Commission. She advises clients seeking to reduce their carbon footprint through new infrastructure assets, clean energy technologies, and carbon credits and carbon offsets. Pam is an active member of the firm’s Energy Commodity Trading and Compliance Working Group, Hydrogen Working Group, Electric Vehicles Working Group, and Renewables Working Group, and she regularly contributes to the firm’s energy blog, Power & Pipes.
Additionally, Morgan Lewis has been named as one of two finalists for The National Law Journal’s Litigation Department of the Year for Labor & Employment, which recognizes excellence in that specialty. Morgan Lewis’s labor and employment practice works with employers around the world to address the full range of workforce matters, including developing strategies to avoid disputes, handling employment litigation, and advising on workforce-related issues in transactions.
Pam and the other honorees will be recognized at an October 26 awards dinner, where winners of the categories with finalists will also be announced.
