Partner Carl Valenstein and Todd Liao and associate Christian Kozlowski spoke to IFLR about the impact of the US-China relationship on companies.
“Unfair trade practices such as anti-dumping, countervailing duty cases and circumvention cases are still alive and affect many Chinese products and supply chain IP protection,” said Carl.
“Many Chinese companies are subject to US sanctions or have been put on the US Entity List, which means they stop getting access to some US export items and technologies,” said Todd.
“As the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) continues to increase its attention on certain types of transactions, it’s a fair estimate to say that we have not yet hit the high watermark,” said Christian.
