ILPA’s Private Equity Legal Conference

Partner Courtney Nowell will participate in the Institutional limited Partners Associations (ILPA’s) Private Equity Legal Conference on October 2, 2024, for the session Status Update and Outlook: SEC Private Fund Advisers Rule.

Courtney will join the deputy city attorney and public pensions general counsel for the LA City Employees’ Retirement System and the general counsel and chief compliance officer for the Teacher Retirement System of Texas to discuss recent developments, regulatory updates, and how private fund advisers and their investors may be impacted by the fact that the rule was vacated by the US Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
