Namita E. Mani

Prior to assuming her role as pro bono counsel, Namita was an associate in the Litigation Practice, focused on counseling and defending companies and individuals involved in securities litigation, regulatory investigations and proceedings, and white collar criminal matters. Her litigation and investigations matters involved false or misleading corporate disclosures, trading and sales violations, off-label marketing of pharmaceuticals, insider trading, and sales practice supervision. As an associate, Namita maintained an active pro bono practice covering matters relating to special education, veterans’ benefits, juvenile justice, and criminal defense. From 2009–2011, she was the vice chair of the Pro Bono Committee for the New York office.

For two years, Namita clerked for Judge Timothy J. Savage of the US District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. In 2012, Boston University School of Law recognized her with its Victor J. Garo Public Service Award.
